Took the 280 Rem out yesterday.

That last time I checked it was 3002 FPS with the BT. This is the first load I tried with the AB using IMR 4831, I'd been using H4831SC with the AB's and wanted too see if I could get better consistency with the IMR powder.

That is sure looking good, now for some fine tuning. The 280 is a excellent calibre.

Holy Mackerel Kingfish, how long is the barrel on that stick?
I'd guess 28 inches, maybe 30 ?

At least it's the right caliber

Nice. You have a deer slayer for sure. The 140 gr at 3000 fps will shoot flat and hit hard.

One of the qualities I like about the Encore platform is the 28" barrel in a 41" package.

Nice shooting Tecumseh! If you can verify that AB you've got a fantastic load which can handle anything.

Is that a Talley one piece mount?
