Didn't run it over the chrono DrMike. Going to load up some more and play with seating depth and chrono them.

Man, something about 4831 and a 270 Win that makes it EASY! Great shooting right out of the gate.

Couple of no nonsense loads right there.

FWIW, I was running 130grain NPTs with SIXTY ONE grains of H4831SC before I broke 3050fps in a 23.5 inch bbl. That was with powder batches a few years ago.

Was also using 58g of the same powder with the 160g NPT for 2840fps.

All I am saying is, myself and others down here who have run H4831SC have found a lot of it to be fairly slow in the last five years or so. YMMV no doubt.

That powder is known as AR2213SC here but is the same stuff. Be keen to hear what the chrono tells you. Please share if you have a mind to.
