Still pretty impressed with this savage .243

It's a M10 Predator Hunter. This is my young fella taking it for a spin, his rifle had big issues starting out so we took turns with mine.

Those groups look real good. The 100 grain Partitions surprised the heck out of me a few years ago when I tried them out of a 6mm Remington. Truly didn't expect them to group all that well, but they did.

60 grain Sierras? Nah, don't know a thing about them... Except they can be driven hard, shoot straight and knock the snot out of varmints! :grin: I'd say you've got the velocity and accuracy to do some serious damage to vermin in your area with that great little .243 Savage!

I think it's pretty sweet that the POI is so close with pretty much everything I feed it.

Jim nice job. I do believe JD338 that it is pronounced Savage'. Savage seems to make a good shooting rifle no matter what the chambering. Now if it was only a 6mm! :shock:

Thanks, I'm pretty sure that rifle will do better though, with another guy behind it or a better rest.
