I know it's hard to imagine but friend kicked me on my back side and said today is the day, wish I had pictures for ya but we will be going back soon as the 2 rifles I took kicked our tails! but they are shooting bug holes at 50 yds as we did not have much time to get much done before the wind came up! Range now has awning over a portion of the 100 yard benches and a big single awning over the 1000yd range meeting area at the side of the firing line and they now also have elevated all the firing lines where you are not shooting up uphill ! Anyway I took my 22-250 and my LMT 556 and learned a lot about what happens when ya do not go to range very often, yes it was painful but sure beats laying on my back! Also shot my Model 29 44 for the first time and gotta say it really is sweeter than I thought it would be  did hit some steel gongs at 50 ft I suppose but not as frequently as I should have but man it felt good to burn some powder!! anyway I got it now where I can work up some range cards and set my zero's next trip out! Really liking that Rapid Z Varmint reticle on my last year model Conquest and once I get it dialed in I will play with it some more! The Leupold VXR on my LMT was really giving me fits until I got 10% smarter than the optik  Out here ya gotta beat the roosters crowing to get to the range before you are staring a changing wind going about 5 to 9 mph but it was only gusting today and did not affect anything! Only thing affected was big dummy behind the trigger  I know I am USAF so please give me a chance as I was a worker not a test taker  way too hot to spend time taking pictures of tiny small holes and I apologize but I will take some pictures once I get it all zeroed in and maybe take a couple more rifles next trip along with some loads I have been needing too work on for quiet some time!! To tell ya the truth between COPD and Heart issues I have been flat on my back for months!! Took it easy today and enjoyed getting up an around and holes less than 1 inch outta both rifles did make me smile and I must say that a 2lb 13 Oz trigger on my LMT was so sweet vs it's original 7.5 Lb trigger that I was speechless!! Wind was too busy for any chrony work anyway so reloads woulda been no good as I could have not gotten any reliable numbers from them but had it with me but I would have shot it again anyway  yes it still has 2 338 TSX holes in the front side of it but works well tapped up, amazing duct tape saves the day ! Please do not abuse me too hard as I am just an old flyboy dragging a tool box
