Range report 300 win mag

Here is a picture of a 300 win mag I had built and picked up yesterday. 25inch Carbon 6 barrel with 10 twist Went out today and had these groups. All 168gr ballistic tips at 100yrds with 7828 ssc

This group was 75gr at 2982, 2956 and another 2956 FPS.

77gr with 3099,3058 and 3065 FPS.

And at max of 80 gr with 3189, 3159 and 3182 FPS.

Looks as if you've found a load. Any one of those will work just fine.

That's a beautiful rifle and it shoots really well. You have a great combination there. What bullets and powder are you using, I don't think I could get 80 grains in mine.
