Rangefinder with Ballistic application

OK guys, looking for a good one. Must have a built in ballistic calculator that one can input a few rifle profiles.
If it has an android app via Bluetooth, that is great but not a deal breaker.

I do have several phone apps already, but trying to expedite the "range, dial, shoot" process. Simplicity in the menu (without requiring a 100 page document) is a huge plus.

What say you?

Budget?
The one I have has only one profile in the Bino, but you can have multiple profiles on the App.
They intentionally did this so as to avoid problems, like loading the wrong info in the Bino from the Bino itself

1 k or so. After a bit of research looking at the vortex razor hd 4000 gb..... that one will also pair with my phone and my kestrel 5700. I'm still researching though

I have the Sig Kilo 2400 ABS . I'm sure it would be discontinued by now . it's a nice small , shirt pocket size , rangefinder . I "THINK" it allows 5 gun profiles to be loaded . it's an all in one , which makes it nice to carry , and I also think it would be quicker to get the corrections to dial . It was solid out to around 1600 yards . past 1600 yards the ranging ability was not 100% . it did well at 1760 yards , 1 mile , I'll guess it was 95% . certain days it struggled at 1 mile . we also had a target at 2300 yards . most times it would range that far , other times it wouldn't .the good thing with this rangefinder is , if it will range that distance , it will give you a correction , there is no limit to the correction distance . when I was shooting a lot at these distances , the Sig got me a lot of first round hits . it seemed the industry was going away from the all in one units . I'd assume it's so they could sell more equipment . for easy to set up , the Sig took a little getting used to , at first . after using it for a while it got easier .

I was going to buy a Kestrel 5700 with the ABS , and a bigger better rangefinder . at that time I wasn't 100% sure what a better rangefinder would be . I was leaning towards the Leica 3500 , but Sig released the K10 bino's , so it was making me think . I had a couple guys that said they had the Leica 3500 , but they would not come shoot with us to be able to see how well the 3500's actually ranged . I'm sure there are better ones out than these by now . at the time , Vectronix was another well known rangefinder , kind of the gold standard . I was hearing the 3500 would out range it though .

I'll second the sig kilo although I don't do much long range shooting yet and can't say how much it helps. I got one that also paired with the scope and ran the BDX app. Mine was just used in hunting situations but it was great.

at long range I shoot from prone . I have the rifle pretty much pointed on target . I rest , or steady , the rangefinder on top of the rifle scope . range the target and the correction is illuminated in the rangefinder . lay the rangefinder down , dial the scope and fire . I really can't see how getting more equipment involved, in the process, would speed things up . I'm getting old eyes too , seeing the small print could be a challenge for me . I know it is on my Garmin GPS . so I might need my reading glasses , or the Kestrel HUD . this adds a little more time to get the correction

out to 1,000 yards my Sig was just about 100% . I can only think of one time it failed to range inside of 1500 yards . this was during a heavy snow . the air was full of snow , when I was trying to range . the rangefinder kept saying 30 - 40 yards , "when" it gave a reading . it must have been the snow , I'd guess fog would do the same . this would be typical of any rangefinder , just how these things work

also back when I was looking to upgrade . the Leica 3500 was having a bluetooth connection issue with the Kestrel . I would hope that's figured out by now , and no longer an issue . I'm not sure if this was a Leica , or Kestrel issue . I do know there was a compatibility problem between them .
