Received NCR07 280AI

Received my 280AI this week. :grin: It is worth the wait when compared to other rifles for a lot more money. Fit and finish is great and I like the matte ceramic look. I have begun the same barrel break in I have used for years, cleaning after each shot for the first 20, then after each 3 shot group for 60 followed by cleaning after every 7 to 10 rounds. This probably is not necessary with a hand lapped barrel, but can't hurt.

I use reloads for this and accuracy has been outstanding, will post when I shoot a group with the Nosler custom ammo.

I wish I had one. If I could get a positive shiping date, I'd probably order one. I really want the Model 48 in .280 though due to weight.

I believe you can not go wrong with either. The 280AI is wonderfully accurate and a real joy to shoot. Don't sweat the wait time, just order one or the other, you won't be disappointed. See my other post and the group I shot with factory 140AB's. :grin:
