Red Hawk Rifles?

They are great guns. My buddy had one. 5" groups at 750 yards 338 RUM.

The couple of samples I've seen were very nice and put together right. I'd have no qualms about ordering one at all.

Given Remington's "on again, off again" QC... for the 700 aficionado they might very well be one of the best options out there

I picked one up not long ago in 308. I have gotten pretty good results with minimal load development. It's the m40 model with detachable magazine bottom metal, badger bolt knob and 20moa scope base. I think with a little more load development it will be a tack driver.

Thanks Guys!
I just bought an air gauged Douglas barrel chambered in 280AI from them and am thinking about having them square up my action and install it. I finally got tired of having several unfinished projects lying around. All I need are a 20moa base and the right glass for it. I already have dies , brass and bullets. The action is already tweaked with a new trigger and safety. I have aluminum blocked B&C stock waiting to be bedded. I guess I'll talk to them tomorrow!

Can't go wrong with a Douglas barrel and judging by my rifle they do good work.

I have used several Douglas barrels and they have all been shooters. My buddy is a full time gunsmith and uses Douglas barrels on most of his rebarrel jobs, he has never had a bad barrel from them.
