I briefly tried this powder in my 338 Lapua using the 250 grain SMK and my 300 Weatherby using 180 grain Barnes TSX. I thought it was a good powder then with excellent burning rate and lot to lot consistency. So when opportunity knocks to acquire 44 lbs at $10/lb, I jumped on it. Time to switch all the IMR 7828 loads to Reloader 25 loading.

Here's the first one on my friend 257 and 300 Bee.

115 Barnes TSX 7 shot group. Three went on the same hole and two above it. The two outside were obviously operator error.

Now, that is some fine shooting. Thanks for sharing the pictures. It is always an encouragement to see what is happening with others on this forum.

I have had the same results with my model 70 300 Wby and 180 AB's. I haven't chronographed in low temperatures, but it shoots real well from 80 degrees down to the teens (chrono's 3250 + - a little at 70 F). My son also uses the rl-25 in his Mark V 300 Wby with 200 grainers with excellent accuracy.
