Hornady has data for RL26 and 162 ELDX, but Nosler has no data for RL26 and 160 NAB (I called). I hear RL26 is the bee's knees in the 7mm Rem Mag. Anyone have experience with it and the 160 NAB?

I used RL26 in my 7 rem mag with Hornady # 2830 154 gr flat base bullets . it shoots decent groups . the velocity ES is pretty good . the powder seems to work well .powder burns clean . I shot it in about 70*F temp and I shot it around 48*F temp . the average velocity for each day was about 13 FPS different . so this powder seems to be changing about 1 FPS per degree of outside temp . I'll be checking this more when I can get out shooting on colder mornings . I way over loaded a couple of times trying to find a starting point , the powder seems to hide pressure signs . if you're wanting to get the velocity up this is probably a good powder choice . the case fill % is in the low to mid 90% so there is plenty of powder space .
here is my work up .

First off, ow. That SOB is a kicker!

R26 results, Magnetospeed Sporter, two shots each, three charge weights, 3.290" OAL.

160 AB:
68 gr 3007, second shell wouldn't chamber, I blame Antifa

68.5 gr, 3039, 3042, avg 3040, es 3

69 gr, 3056, 3060, avg 3058, es 4

162 ELDX
68 gr 3036, 3030, avg 3033, es 6

68.5, 3058, 3077, avg 3067, es 19

69 gr, 3092, 3108, avg 3100, es 16

No sticky bolt lift or extraction issues with any charge. I'm going to examine the cases for extractor marks right after I find the rest of my fillings.

I like that 160 AccuBond at 3,000 - 3,100 fps... Good low SD's and it's a proven game-taker.

I think I'll focus on 68.5 grains and try a seating depth test.

You won't regret it. It is a truly awesome Bullet.
