Reloading for the 7mm Rem Mag.

I use the fed 215M in all magnums. If I do not get the accuracy then I switch and hope!

Since I sarted using the Magnum Match Fed 215's, I have had high accuracy and high velocity. The only rifle which I presently own (since selling the .340 mag) that needs these primers (except in really cold weather) is the 7mm Rem Mag and I use them exclusively for that rifle.

Hard to beat 66-67 grains of RL22 in the 7WSM or 7mm Rem Mag. I run WW cases for both of them and CCI250's in both. I'm using the 160 AB right now in the 7 WSM and it runs 3100 with it. Accuracy is excellent, all the time. I'll be working with my older 7RM soon, but I suspect it'll be the same.

I have been loading 66.0 grains of IMR 7828 SSC and this load is fast, accurate and very consistant at about 3060 fps with the 160 Partition and W-W brass.

Had a fantastic range day yesterday. Nothing but a light breeze and nice cool weather. The sort of day you dream about when you're sitting at your desk on a Monday...

I'm still chasing R19 as my first choice, as I keep it around for a lot of other loads.
Using Win brass, F215M and the 160g AccuBond
61.5 - 1.4" (Book Max)
61.0 - 1.3"
60.5 - .6"
60.0 - 1.2"

I didn't get a chance to Chrony it, but Nosler shows it should be right around 3k at 60.5g. I'm going to load up another batch of the 60.5g and 61g. Given that it's a factory 700 barrel from over a decade ago, I'll be content if I can zero in a 1 - 1.5" group consistently.

I'm not sure why R22 gets all the press when R19 seems to fit the bill just as well. I'm hoping the book isn't offbase in it's estimations of velocity. Seems to me, if she's consistent R19 could be well suited.

RL19 is a great powder. I like it alot actually. It is magical in the 338 Win Mag, so I can't see it being much less than excellent in the 7.. I just found RL22 to work well in the 7's, so I have stuck with it.
