you guys can give me a hand here.
Before I left Spain, I was trying to help some friends in Austria. First off you guys have it a tad easier than people in other countries do in regards to hand loading. Some countries require one to take a course, as well as other hoops you must jump through.
I told them that when someone asks for reloading help from the members of this forum they could expect 15 to 20 responses, minimum
Two questions for you reloading guru's
1. I had advised those I was trying to help that IMHO both Norma and Weatherby sold good ammo and if one wanted to use their ammo, that I did not believe they would be disappointed. A. Do you agree ? B. Who else, besides Weatherby and Norma do you use when using factory loaded ammo ?
2. I was helping them with reloading info my husband had used, but it is many years old --so would you be so kind as to share your reloading notes for the 505 Gibbs, the 9.3 x 74R and the 7 x 57R--thank you
Right now they can buy from Norma, 600 gr solid and soft woodleigh for the Gibbs, 285 Oryz for the 9.3 and 156 Oryx for the 7x57. Personally this is the way I would go, but I know you fellows prefer to roll your own, so wanted to at least share your recipes with them and then they can decide which way they want to proceed--thank you
