Reloading Logs

I get where you're coming from with the spiral notebook. I used to keep all my reloading logs that way too, but like you, I found it falling apart after a while. It's great that you found Gavin's Ultimate Reloader site – those printable sheets sound like a solid upgrade! Personally, I've been using https://notesonline.com/ for organizing my notes lately. It's been a lifesaver for keeping everything neat and accessible. Maybe it could be another useful tool to consider alongside your binder setup.

I just use a spiral notebook like you do and then keep it in a binder. I normally cut out my best groups like report cards and glue on to a page and write down all my load data. Been doing it for over 25 years and the binder is still going strong along with the notebook but it’s getting pretty full.

I write some data on the actual target when testing begins. Then when I get home I scan the target into a file. After testing is complete I write a document containing all pertinent information and save this to a file. I take the targets and document and put them into a notebook for reference.
Even so I've lost some data. A hurricane took the roof off my shop and soaked everything inside. And the people putting on my new roof came a few weeks early and helped me move everything out. I'm still looking for some of my stuff.
Then around Christmas my computer crashed and only a portion of my data was backed up. My mistake. But when I get time I'm going to repair that tower and maybe get some of the data back.

Here’s some targets I made up and have three ring binders to keep the ones I want for future reference.
I also have a reloading log that uses the same info format for keeping track of loading history.

I have been using the same cheap spiral notebook to keep all my reloading logs, as I keep flipping those pages, the pages tends to come apart at the seams over several years of usage. I keep some targets in there with a log stapled to it on what loads I used as well. Call me old fashioned, most of these guys uses Excel and they are savvy with Excel unlike me. What do you guys use to keep track of your logs?

I have surfed the net on printable reloading logs and came across Gavin's Ultimate Reloader site and he has some neat printable reloading sheets to keep your notes in, i just printed 10 pages and bought a one inch binder and some of those reinforcement labels. Put some of those labels on both sides of the reloading sheets after hole punching them, the labels helps to keep the papers from being torn out accidentally and it looks real neat with some dividers in it as well, just unzip it and keep your targets inside them. Check this link that Gavin provided on Ultimate Reloader, I like them.
Hard cover bound ledger book is what i use, seems to work good!! Larry Gene
