Congratulations on the 280 Remington. 140 gr BT's and RL19 should get you where you want to be. Deadly on WT deer, doubt you will need a follow up shot!

I have a 7600 280 also, black synthetic. It was a Grice Wholesale exclusive many moons ago. I bought it used but the original buyer didn't take care of it. It has surface rust marks all over it but it shoots and functions fine.

I shot 120 and 140 BTs through mine and it like both very well.
