Anyone have one of these? I want one really bad but haven't shot one or held one in my hands yet. It seems like its almost too good to be true. An affordable 1911... :?

But I have wanted a 1911 style 45 ACP since I dunno...birth. Hopefully these turn out to be good guns.

We had one in the gunshop where I work part time. Seemed like a decent gun in a basic 1911 format but no better/worse than some of the other name brands out there.

FJ, if you really want a quality 1911 45, look for a Kimber. I am not saying the Remington isn't a decent 45, but it might be worth saving a few extra bucks in picking up a used Kimber or just finding a deal on one, if you can. They are really one of the best factory made 1911's out there and they will shoot and function well. Again, I am sure the Remington is a nice enough pistol, but the Kimber will put a smile on your face like a nice M70. Scotty
