Retumbo and 180 gr AB in 300 win mag ?

Anybody tried this combo ?

Was going to try in my rifle, but the results I got wilth RL22 and 180 AB's, I'm going to stick with it. My hunting buddy's rifle (same as mine) did not shoot as good so we are going to try Retumbo and H1000. Just got to find the time to reload it and get to the range.

Start at 75 gr and work up.....

Been there, done that. Good luck getting enough RETUMBO in the case to get the job done. Starting load for the 200 grain Partition in the.300 Win Mag is 79 grains, topping out at 84 grains. Should take more for a 180 grain bullet. IME RL22 ended up being the cat's pajamas. I only wish I would have listened to that suggestion a long, long time ago.

Personally, with the experience I had with it, I can only suggest that you don't waste your time with it.
