I finally got around to shooting my .280 and the 120BT with a good dose of RL17. I think I have found my load for opening weekend here in Tenn. next Saturday. Three clicks to the left, another session on the bench to verify and I am ready. I had chronographed this load earlier at 3,308ft/s. Today's average was 3,305ft/s.... RL17 just turned my .280 into a .280AI.

There is nothing wrong with that group. That would be a great load for wolves here in BC.

Re17 seems to be a little different from others, based on what I've seen and read so far. It may not make sense to anyone not versed in electronics and radio, but it seems to exhibit what I would call "broadband" characteristics. I guess what that means in normal terms is that it appears to do very well in an unusually wide range of applications. Those are my early impressions, anyway...
