ruger m77 heavy 280

so i went into a local gun shop the other day to check out some things. you never know what your gonna find right ? well i am a 280 rem. nut have had four of them still own three, there in the corner was a ruger m77 in a heavy barrel 280. topped with a vx3 4.5x 14 x 40. seeing how it was lonely i invited her to my 280 group. so does anyone else have the same rifle out there shes very pretty might just turn into a safe queen. anyways starting loads and info would be great.

Love a 280! Is this an older rifle or newer? I have seen heavy barreled "Varminters" but the biggest caliber was a 25-06. If this is a factory barrel, maybe it was a "Limited run" for Davidson's or Grice?

Ruger offered heavy-barreled models in other calibers also, as I've owned the .300 Win. mag. and a .270 in that version.
