Sorry to hear about this, they really are a modern Classic!

Luckily I now have one, so apart from it not being in 7x57 (its a .308 Win), I'm content.

A poster on Ruger.com said he got a call from Ruger's president saying that the number one had not been discontinued. His handle is numero uno and he has long been regarded as the leading expert on all things number one.
