Too short of a barrel for my taste. 3", maybe, but 5" would be ideal I think.

I bought one of these to try. Nice revolver not sure i really need the extra bang.

I already have a ruger superblackhawk, Dan Wesson and S&W 629 Classic 5 inch barrel all in 44 mag

The 454 is a step up in power and recoil. Could always put a scope or burris fastfire on it
