My wife won a boar hunt at a local gun raffle.She used her model 7 7mm-08 140 acuubonds.All i can say is they are one of the toughest animals i've seen.Took 2 shots too the front shoulder at 20 yards then another to the head to finish it.View attachment 100_0384.JPGView attachment 100_0378.JPGView attachment 1

Again, welcome to the forum. It is good to have you on board. Congratulations to your wife on a fine looking boar. And all this time I thought that bullets launched from a 7mm-08 would bounce off of game. :grin: It looks like those 140 grain ABs worked quite well to halt that porker.

Thanks for the welcome.I'm from central PA. The boar was shot at pipeline ridge in Muncy PA. Didn't know it existed til she won the hunt,pretty nice place they have everything from deer to wildebeast.
