Anyone have any personal experiences with these rifles? If so what are your thoughts? I found one today while browsing the local guns store and love the look of it...but the $$$$. Any information would be great

I have a 200 model that I haven't fired but my dad has several of them as well and I've shot his. They are really nice rifles and extremely accurate for a factory gun. The bolts slide like glass. BTW the Model 200 is just a older version of the 202.

I own two, a synthetic 25-06 that has been my go to WT deer rifle for the past several years, and a Supreme that began life as a .270. A friend gave me another stock and forearm for it along with .308 Win. and 6.5x55 barrels. A friend of mine also has a 25-06 and a 243 that he bought after hunting with my 25-06.

The actions are what other rifles would like to be (in my opinion) as far as smoothness of operation is concerned. Accuracy is superb as well. Granted they are pricey, but when you compare the quality you get, it falls in line with many custom rifles.

where is a good place to find more information on these rifles and the replacement barrels/stocks...etc?

Wow they are proud of them now days. The wolverine version is pretty cool with the heavy barrel and adjustable stock. I think the model 200 .270 I have cost me 350 or 400 bucks new and I got about 5 or 6 at that price. I sold all but one and more than paid for the one I kept. They were normally bringing about 1000.00 at that time.

I had a Sauer 202 in .270 Win and it was a wonderful rifle with gorgeous wood...Of the many rifles I wish I hadn't let go ...that one shot the best!
