I haven't personally used talley mounts but know someone that has. Once he tried them he replaced every set of rings and bases that he had with talley one piece ring and base.
I have them on my Mountian Rifle LSS in 260 Rem holdong a Varix111 2.5x8. They seem good, I have never had a problem with any of the rings I use, which include Leupold, Talley and Millet.
