Just a pic of my most recent spending spree!

20120721_0547511.jpg

There is over 2K bullets in the pic but I remember when $500 went a little further. Bad part is I'm only 40 hate to think of what some of you guys could have bought bullets for back in the day. I guess this is what they call it expendable income. ;)

500 ea 6mm 107 CC
200 ea .308 150 BT
100 ea .338 225 AB
$191 from SPS

500 ea 6mm 115 DTAC
$140 from Tubbs

200 ea 6mm 115 Berger
$70 from Midway

50 ea .308 150 NAB
49 ea .308 150 Horn repack
$40 off of AR

300 ea .257 87 Rem HP
$50 off of Campfire

The guy on the fire is sending me another box of the Remington bullets for an additional $15 that he found, now if only my .250 Savage would get here!

And by the time you go through all those, you may need a new barrel too!

Hey, nobody is given this stuff away. It does look as if it is a good stash, however.

I would have to agree that it is definitely not cheap but we are lucky enough in both the US and Canada that we can still buy the supplies and use them
It is helping me stay away from the Tube which automatically open my refrigerator

Blessings,
Dan

I'm dying to try those 115’s and I only bought the 107 CC bullets because they were cheap. If the DTAC and Berger's shoot I doubt I ever load them up. All the 150 grain bullets are to use in my .300 Savage and the .338 AB are for a rifle I haven't built yet."

That is a great stash of bullets right there! Always good to see some bullets ready for load work!

25 years ago you could have bought all that plus a rifle.
Looks like you are set for a while. Just buy when you find a good deal and stay ahead of the curve.

Yeah it is a good stash however I've got a MUCH larger stash of bullets under my bench and I'll have to be trimming the fat from it soon as I'll be moving. There is a lot of it that won't be making the trip to TX. Since I reload about every caliber between .204 and .375 only missing a 7mm and 9.3 mm from my safe at this time. I do have quite a few 7mm bullets however from the days when I tried several different options in that diameter.

Your right it doesn't go far I just bought 200, 300Norma and 100 6.5x47 lapua brass and it came to 467 dollars.

SPS has gotten well over $600 from me in the past month. I'm actually waiting for another order to arrive. :)

At least its a pretty good buy from them.
