September 2016 Blacktail hunt.

I don't have as many pictures as I usually would have for some reason but will share what I have.

My wife got the biggest deer of the trip (as is her custom) and biggest to date. Her 6.5x55 with 120 gr Ballistic Tip's proved deadly again. If you look closely you can see the exit wound behind the shoulder. She also took a second deer, a young doe which we didn't get any pictures of.







My friend with fattest doe I have ever seen, we nicknamed her Porky. She obviously ate well on the tide flats you will see in the following pictures. He used my 264 Win mag with 156 gr Oryx bullets and took a total of 4 deer.







I got a total of 4 deer but only have pictures of one. I used my 270 Win with 150 gr Ballistic Tips and liked how they put the deer down quickly.
