I just returned from Wyoming and we got 2 antelope bucks (pictures to follow soon and a cow elk (no pictures of the cow)
I used the 7mm RUM for the antelope and got a complete pass through with 140 gr. Nos. A/Bs and a very final one shot kill. He went down so fast I thought I'd missed and followed the herd for about a mile before I noticed he was missing and I had to back and find him in the sage. It was amazing how white and bright he stood out from the different angle.
The cow elk was a quartering away shot while on the trot going over the hill at about 125 yds. I'd like to say I made a perfect shot but I didn't. I smacked her in the right ham, breaking her left leg. I found her in the sage over the hill and finally made a decent head shot at about 40 yards and ended it. The saving grace (again) was the 260 gr. AccuBond out of my 375 RUM penetrated more than expanded and didn't blow up as much meat as I feared. No bullet recovery.
We didn't find the deer untill the last day and it was day 9 of the season so we didn't find any bucks on public land.
It was incredible to see hundreds upon hundreds of antelope spread out for as far as you could see in any direction. It was also incredible how they could stay 500+ yards away no matter how you tried on that open ground. They can see "REAL WELL". I thought I had the long range stuff down out to 600 yards pretty good but the relentless winds of Wyoming made shots beyond about 300 yds too risky for my ability to dope wind.
It was a great trip.
Good Hunting
