Well, I have been checking SPS for awhile now. With limited time to jump on the internet machine, I have been hoping/waiting for some 200gr Partitions for my 300 Win Mag. Well, this morning I was lucky enough to jump on and grab 3x bags of them, a bag 260gr PT's for my buddies 375 H&H, 150gr Accubonds, .257 100gr E-Tips, and one set of Redding 375 H&H dies. I got the E-Tips, just so it pushes me a little harder to get me a .257 rifle upon return, and the 375 dies for my buddies rifle. I have been meaning get loading for his rifle, but have had some other iron's in the fire. Either way, just figured I would share my luck if any of you all were looking for some more bullets. Scotty

Nothing like buying bullets or brass to make a person "need" a rifle to use the bargain that was found. We've all been there. Congratulations, Scotty!

Scotty,

You did well at SPS.
Buying bullets before you have the rifle? Now I know that it isn't just me and I am not crazy!

Yeah, I kinda jumped the gun a little, but as long as I have bullets on the bench, I will have a reason to get one in that caliber. I was hoping for some PT's and BT's, but the E-Tips for the price they were selling them for was too good to pass up! Scotty

I love the SPS! I got a heck of a deal on 200 7mm 160 AB seconds, 200 7mm 120 BT seonds, and 50 6mm 95 bt seconds. I'm set for the year 7mm wise. If a guy keeps an eye out he can get some killer deals on there.

Sounds like I'm not the only one that made out well!

I am debating on if I should get some of those 200 gr partitions for my ultra mag or hold out for accubonds

hey nosler just make us a 200 gr ballistic tip already!

The 200 gr AB is an awesome bullet for the 300 RUM. If the 200 gr PT is a good deal, might be worth picking up a couple bags. The 200 gr PT will give you a lot of penetration!

no doubt JD I just hate getting those tips boogered up and in the magazine of teh RUM they will probably take a beating

man you gotta be quick I saw 120 gr 257 partitions last night decided I better sleep on it whoops

I'd love to buy some but paying $15 shipping to AL, on $15.00 bullets (7mm 160gr AB), sort of defeats the savings.

I just grabbed a bag of .257 120gr PT's, some .243 85gr PT's, Nosler 338 Win Mag Brass 2nds and some 375 H&H brass. Check them out, as of right now they have the 120gr 2nds.

I had a dilemma and saw they had Norma 257 brass on sale, and also 25-06 Nosler 2nds brass on sale. I almost picked one, but can't decide just yet. Both of them are running neck and neck in my head. I have a few different bullets to try with whatever one I grab though!

14.00 for shipping isn't too bad if you buy a few different things, just cause of the discount on the bullets, it seems to make up for the few extra bucks for shipping. Scotty

I just ordered 3 boxes of the 45 185gr custom comp and 2 boxes of 7mm 160gr AB and 2 boxes of the remington cyclone 22lr and shipped it all to Utah for $12 shipping!!! It costs me about $20 in fuel to drive to Salt Lake to buy stuff so I have absolutely no complaints!

Okay, I'm officially envious! Man, the prices on brass (to say nothing of the bullets) are amazing. If I could arrange to get it across the border, I'd definitely be ordering a ton of stuff. Scott, buy in bulk so you distribute the cost of shipping. Those are great prices.

Yeah, you aren't kidding there Mike. I like getting the stuff from them. Plus, I know it is going to a good company that supports hunting and shooting alot. Scotty

The game will never know the difference and the Partition is outstanding. Besides you will only bugger up the tip on a couple. The rest will still be in the box.

I just ordered 5 boxes of 25 cal 120gr PT. my 25-284 really likes them.
Also ordered a box of 243 cal 85gr PT to try in my older 244 remmy(6mm Remington) with a 1-12 twist. Shoots the 55 NBT very well and I have never worked up a deer load for it. Always wanted to try this bullet and the Pro shop forced my hand

Yeah, it is hard to pass up the bullets when they put them up for sale... Scotty
