Shooting day!

Finally made it out shooting today with my 7mm-08 and 22-250. The results were encouraging.

The first rifle was the little 7. I was confirming my 139 gr. Interbond load and checking impact point versus my 120 gr. BT load. I don't have a chronograph but this gun shoots really well. Its shoots under an inch all day long.

Next up was the 22-250 with the 64 gr. BSB. I was confirming this load also. I think I can tighten this group up by shortening the oal but its consistently under an inch.

Next I began load development for the 22-250 with 53gr. Tsx. This 37 gr. load shows some promise. First two shots close, the 3rd out. Could be heat as its almost 85 degrees today but thinking I should shorten it up a bit?

The 37.5 load shows promise as well. Im thinking I will load these two again with slight modifications to length and retest them. The two lower grain loads were not good at over 2" groups.

Any advice or thoughts?

Looks as if you have a couple of shooters developing quite nicely. Congratulations. No doubt you'll be able to make those groups tighter with a little attention. Still, they look very promising as presented.

Very nice! Looks like a great day! I'd like to have a few days of nothing but shooting rifles!

That laid developement is coming along nicely. It won't hurt to shorten that 22-250 just a tad & see if that group tightens like you want.

Blessings,
Dan

Just to be clear i am going to shorten them up .005 at a time. Is that the normal adjustment for you guys?
