Anyone else having a hard time finding these locally? I went to Sportsmans the other day to buy a 1,000 and they had none. And the very knowledgable clerk (not) said that was the most primers they have had in a while, which I know is not true. I don't want to have to order and pay the hazmat fees.

How much difference is there between the Gm215M and just the standard 215.

Federal primers will be hard to find any where. I believe Federal supplies ammo to the military, therefore we civilians will have to search and wait for primers to becom available. Do a search, this topic has been brought up before. I you find some, pay the hazmat and get as many as you can.

As for the diferences, the GM215 are more consistent than std 215, tighter tolerances, better quality control, etc.......

Me too. I've been using some CCI magnum rifle primers for some of my loads as well as some Remington large rifle primers. The Remingtons worked out real well in my .300 RUM loads.

Federal is cranking out a mess of ammo for the military from what I've heard. Good for them! A little rough on those of us who have come to depend on their primers though.

Regards, Guy

I havent found any federal match primers in a long time, been to sportsmens like 6 different times this last month, and getting there whenever they get a shipment in and still no luck finding any.

I have them all!

I think the GM210 is the tough ones to find.
I have stocked up on GM215M's, waiting to get a couple of GM210M bricks.
