Went out to the ranch after church today to see if there were any gophers out. Sun was shining the whole 20 miles up there and as soon as we got there, it started snowing so hard we couldnt see 100 yards. It didnt take long before it quit and the sun came out. We shot 150-200 gophers but they were pretty few and far between. My little brother had a 1/2lb can of tannerite in his pickup and we got a bright idea. So he mixed it up and went and set it next to a hole that a gopher had just gone down. Once he came out...BOOM!

My girlfriend wants to go shoot some tomorrow and the weather is supposed to be almost 50 degrees and sunny so they should be out all over the place! Here is a picture we took after the tannerite. If he would have waited for the gopher to come all the way out of the hole, who knows how far it would have flew!

I am so ready to get out and start launching "skippy" across the prairie!!! Spent 6 hours in the reloading room yesterday getting 400 rounds loaded. 55 grain BT's for the 22-250 and 35 grain Bergers for .204.

Looks like fun. The melt is on here in the north, but we will have some days yet before the snow is melted enough to see much ground. Your post and video is giving me the itch, I tell you.

Snowed here again yesterday, today 42 and 15 mph wind. Its spring, turkeys are everywhere.
