Signess- I've got it bad

You went Sig.

I went Beretta. Nice start on a collection of great guns. Had an Sig 226 that I lost in my bankruptcy. Loved the cartridge but prefer the lower bore axis of the Beretta. My 226 was a 357 Sig.

With the newer grip frame on the Betettas, I think it’s called a Vertek grip, I don’t see myself using any other 9mm.

I've been a Sig person for a long time. My first purchase was a West German 226 in .357 Sig. That gun absolutely loves Underwood Ammunition. I now own a total of 4 Sigs and either carry or shoot all of them. Agree with Fotis on the Glocks.

I won a local fireman's raffle and went into the shop to pick out a gun. I went in with the intention of getting a 40 S&W. The only one they had was a Glock. The Sig 320 AXG Classic, the bottom left gun caught my eye. I really like wood grips. It was in 9mm and debated if I wanted another 9. I did my homework and the beauty of the 320 is its modular. So I brought it home and ordered a 40 slide, barrel and recoil spring, and I had my 40. That was my second Sig and the Signess has taken over.

I have heard and read good things about Sigs over the years. Have handled a couple, but never shot one.

My current 40S&W is a CZ SP-01. I just love how the CZs fits my large hands...but also that they fit a variety f hand sizes well.
I have also owned 9mm's and another 40 in the Model 75 and 85...and found I just prefer the 40. And the SP-01 provides all the features I was looking for that the 75 and 85 did not. But this is just my preference. :D
I had a lot fun with my 85 in 40 while participating in the IDPA while living in Dawson Creek and working at the LGS. Never should have sold that Dual Tone pistol! Was a lot of fun to shoot! And very accurate too! (When I did my part)

My 1911 is a Kimber in 10mm...which I got as it is the closest in a pistol to my revolvers (NMBH's 41 Rem Mag).

But as we cannot hunt with, or typically carry (except in rare circumstances for certain professions with numerous caveats), handguns here north of the border, and I just do not shoot them enough, or as much as others do, I wasn't expanding on my handgun battery. And now that we cannot acquire handguns at all anymore, unless we have a special permit for being on the competitive teams, I am now regulated to stick to my current battery. Guess I'll have to somehow join a team!
