We had a great time last year, decided to do it again. We left Friday about 1100 hours. Road side snow all the way to Winnemucca Nevada. Today we traveled to just North of Vegas. Road side snow all the way to Tonenpau (spelling). Finally above freezing. Tomorrow we head to Parker Arizona.

Amazing how beautiful and rugged Nevada is. Not quite so harsh with snow on the ground. Looks to be dryer down here near Vegas. But it should be a beautiful spring.

Lunch stop south of Vegas, headed to Parker Arizona tonight

WE get our share of snowbirds. I just wish some knew how to drive. Quite a few east coasters and from up in the Great Lakes area. Haven't seen too many Canadian license plates though Maybe two or three in that last couple of months. One guy I know is from Wisconsin. He usually shows up around late September and leaves at the end of April. He goes to my church when he's in town.

Looks like a great time! I was in the Superstitious Mountains when I was a kid. It's some pretty rugged country.
Are you going to go through the red rock country while you are in AZ?
