Because of the low price and phenomenal reviews I bought this! Accuracy has been awesome in every review I read. You could say Savage-like!
What flavor? 30-06 please! Perfect truck/loaner gun. I know I am sick!

WHY ? WHY ? :?: you Sick there Fellow ! :?: Ok keep us in the loop bout it OK ! LOL

Cheers  RJ

I've helped a couple guys set these up. A 30-06 and a kid's .243… both were very accurate. The compact .243 with it's stubby barrel shot 100gr Federal "Blue Box" into bug holes. The 12yo owner shot a caribou stone dead with it on his first ever big game hunt. He couldn't be happier with it.

I'm thinking about one in 22-250 for a winter predator/varmint gun… no need for high dollar since I'm gonna Krylon it white anyway.

Both of the folks set them up with inexpensive Nikons for under $600…including rings and a couple boxes of ammo, pretty nice for a lower budget rifle.

I have read and heard some fine reviews of this particular rifle. I'd say it would be a great truck gun. Should be interesting, Fotis.

I'd shoot a couple of them both 3006 and I was impressed I'm even thinking about buying one.

Saved for posterity!

How many times did you tell me that the .30-06 (one of God's Three Chosen Cartridges) was BORING? It's a sign of the Apocalypse, I tell you!

I guess, in yet another sign of the pending Apocalypse, I should buy one of these FUGLY guns:

I looked at one of the scout rifles (just on the rack, I didn't handle it) and in person it's not as horrendous as I thought it would be.

Fotis you always seem to find those good deals Bud. Once you have it set up I am sure it will do everything it is meant to do .

I just did! :?  :p

It'll be here next week. Maybe I'll put a supressor on it and bring it to Wyoming next time.

:p Pulling that pretty decal off may affect balance and accuracy. Suggest you leave it on. :p :p

No decals!!!!

Seriously George?

NIB is supposed to mean max value, but the new normal will be NIB-WD for "with decals". Just sayin'.

 Seriously, Fotis! I must have gone insane as I also bought a Handi-rifle in .300 Blackout.

The Scout looks a lot better with a Leupold EFR 4x and an AAC 300TM. :)

I can't bring myself to buy an American, unless it was a fast twist 22-250, then I would camp out to get one.

EFR 4x? As in extended focus range? I though that was only on rimfire/airgun scopes. Or do you mean IER (Scout) or EER (handgun)?

Not to hijack Fotis' thread, for plinking, I was planning on a Trijicon Dual-Illuminated RMR in a QD mount on the rail or an Aimpoint PRO with a flip-over 3x magnifier.

For hunting, either a Leupold Vari-X III 1.75x-6x or 2.5x-8x or a Burris Fullfield II Illuminated Ballistic Plex in QD rings in the regular position.

The can will be the Elite Iron Bravo I that I use on my AR-15.300 BLK. 8)

A local store has one of the Americans with a "Navy Digital Cammo" stock (although that's kind of a sin since I served in the Marines  ). It's a 308, and seems like a good back-up/loner gun. I happen to have an extra Nikon Buckmaster 3x9 scope.

It's just calling me... but I have so many gun projects I'd like to do. Maybe we all need some therapy.

That would be a super fun gun George! Bring it out next goat season!!!!!
