Absolutely my favorite slate call! Instead of common black slate, I used hard to find red slate and put a glass soundboard inside the pot. The pot is a laminate of walnut, maple, and rosewood. This one blows the notion of slate calls being mellow out the window! With a ton of rasp and volume and a great old hen sound. Comes with a waterproof rosewood striker.
