Scotty,

I'll try to get pictures of my 358STA tomorrow night when I'm over at my dads but I took some other pictures tonight. A few of one of my old school Zeiss rangefinder we used in the days before lasers. A few of the Laser Technologies XLR rangefinder which was the best made in the early days of lasers. It's good to 2400yds and is made by the company that makes Gunwerks new rangefinder. A few of my safe at the house and of my messy reloading supplies.

Nathan

Ah, another soul with a gun room in delightful disarray. I would be distressed to show you my own collection until I am able to get another safe. Essentially, I seek protection rather than true and proper storage. The ranging solutions are interesting to me.

Now that is a rangefinder. Ross Seyfried used one for his pioneering of modern day LR shoots

The most common military version was the Barr and Stroud and that is probably what Ross used. Zeiss' version isn't nearly as common. It's amazing how worthless they all were when lazers came out. I saw Barr and Strouds as cheap as 250.00. I paid over 1500 for mine. Now they generally bring 750 or so.

What a crop of rifles! Jeezeum.. Very cool pictures. Glad my man cave isn't the only one that looks "used" as well.

I didn't show my loading bench which is in even worse shape Mike. At least I have a room all for my stuff. It's in perpetual disarray due to heavy collecting over the last 20 years. I thought I got rid of most of my factory barrels until I looked in my old safe. I had about 10 7mm Rem. Mag factory barrels still with some 30-06's. I found even more when I moved my lathe to my shop.

There is a reason I don't show pictures of my reloading bench. I know where everything is, but it would be a nightmare for someone else to navigate across it.

nice thanks for sharing, I think your perhaps a little short on safe space however. A couple more rifles may be a challenge.

It's funny you say that because here are pictures of my other safe along with my .358STA. I have a few that aren't in the safe in the first pictures either along with several actions with barrels piled in the corner of the first safe. My .358STA is a Rem. 700 SS ADL with a #5 Lilja in a High Tech Specialties stock with a Leupold 4x12.

Wow, I like it! Man, the more I think about a big 35, the better the idea seems in my head!

I know there are others that will do just as well, but a big 35 just seems too cool to me... Be nice with a 250 AB to compliment one of them too...

Mason, you listening to this?

I know if I ever built an STA, I would be begging the fine folks at Nosler for an AB in the 270-300 grain range...
