Something new.

So far, I've resized my brass which is actually 25-06 brass and tumbled it to knock the sizing wax off.
I loaded up 5 with 51.0 grns of 7828 and 130 grain AccuBond and fired them offhand off my deck, so far no proper bench, chrony etc. it's -29 today and -30, -31 the next two days and I go back to work Sunday.
It's a delightful rifle to shoot, very little recoil and a very nice 1.5lbs trigger. I was shooting at a round bale that rolled into a small slough, so all I can say is its hitting about 14" higher than point of aim at 125 yds.

The stock is hand checkered and the fit and finish is perfect. It is undoubtably the nicest rifle I've ever owned.

Beautiful rifle! I've always liked Cooper's and that one has extraordinary wood! Love that cartridge as well! Congratulations! My father has talked about getting a 6.5-06 and I keep telling him to just get a 6.5-284, but he has a soft spot for the old Springfield cartridges. I admit, they are cool!
