Something shiny!

That is beautiful Jake. What a piece of true American gunsmithing! Very very nice..

Those Mtn rifles are sweet!! That stock fits me perfect love them! Much better that the new Rems with the tumor they call a recoil pad!

Those are some lovely rifles that you fellows found. Jake, is that the shiny object that Brown is delivering to your doorstep?

What a great a great thing to wake up to on a saturday moring :) those are some beautiful looking rifles. And to be so lucky as to have being delivered to your door!!

Blessings,
Dan

That 7 by is piece of art, outstanding! If I owned one like that it would never be out of the safe. I would be fearful of scratching it! Most beautiful.

No Mike I wish. But I had to show it when I saw it. It would of been a sin not to show that.

Kurt your right on cue today! I got that same rifle in 243 its pretty sweet.

I really dig those old skool Mountain Rifles... I wish I would have been able to afford a couple of them when they were current.... .280, 7-08, 7x57, .257 Bob, .243... (a 6mm would have been way cool!).

Kurt,

Any one of the old school Mountain Rifles would have been quite nice to use.

I was swindled out of a Mountain Rifle in 280 by my cousin back around 1999. It had a Leupold Compact 3x9 on it and was really nice. He gave 450 for the entire package. I shot the first three rounds out of it, over a picnic table and they could have been covered with a quarter..
