Fellow I know has had great results with 7mm RDF's as a hunting bullet, including elk!

I'm not urging that practice, just taking note of it. He's pretty doggone gun savvy, hunts with a 280 AI and some sort of 6.5 critter, can't remember which one. Showed me a bullet he recovered from the elk, pretty doggone nicely mushroomed.
