STUCK CASE

I had a case seperate while resizing today. Just above the belt with the balance stuck up in the sizing die. Anyone have a good method for extracting the balance of the case?

Place the die in the freezer and see if there is enough relaxation to permit the case to be removed with minimal effort.

Also, perhaps try some penetrating oil (but not much as you don't want the inside of the stuck case getting slicked up). Might be time to send it back to the manufacturer and pay the few bucks to have them remove it - especially if there's not any of the case sticking out by which to grab it and pull.
