Both me and what this gun I let get away was doing

Me for being dumb enought to let the 700 sendero in 25.06 get away

Then the guy I sold it to calls me up and tells me to get down to the range and see what he has it doing. I know this guy and he is all about max load plus a little he has been screaming 75 gr Vmax out of this girl with good results never chronyd it but I know its booking

So what is he shooting today 60 gr flat nose! Clover leaf to boot. Talk about a dog smacker. That gun just shoots anything you trow down the tube

I feel your hurt nitis! I was STUPID a couple years ago and sold a Remington Model 700 MTN Rifle in .280 Remington that shot 140 gr. Partitions into 3/4" groups every time out. I killed my biggest bull elk with it at 250 yards. Two shots right behind the shoulder that were about an inch apart from each other!!

I figured I wanted a controlled round feed like a Model 70 or a Ruger in the same caliber and that I would surely buy a new one soon. WE all know how those special toys can be at the bottom end of the budget barrel though! To this date, I have not replaced it yet. I have a 30-06 that shoots like a champ and I don't really need a .280, but I sure love that cartridge.
