Successful deer hunt

He's not a big one, but should make for some tasty steaks.

Was using my Weatherby Vanguard S2 in 25/06. Loaded with 115gr BT. Shot was 225-250yds through the lungs.

I got him before he made it to the safety of the trees. In front of me and to both sides, it was clear cut and I was up on a small hill looking down on that area.
