A good day, indeed. Those are some beauties. They definitely stir my memories of days on the rivers of BC, Washington and Oregon. I fished the Santiam past Mehama on one occasion with a friend who assured me that there wasn't much there. I proved him wrong when I caught a beautiful, bright doe steelhead that morning. I may still have a picture somewhere. I never fished the beach in Oregon, though. Thanks for the great video.

Gotta love spin n glows; grew up on them and probably caught 70% of the kings I guided to. Great video.
All I know about fishing you could put in a thimble with room to spare.
Grew up bass fishing. Had another uncle, also a WWII Vet, that tournament fished for bass. There was no other species as far as he was concerned.
Need to learn how to catch salmon, halibut, trout and whatever else is tasty.

You'll do well when you get up there. Lot's of people will give you advise and there's always youtube as well.
