Super Mellow .375 H&H load!

That's pretty cool. I suspect I'll eventually get to shooting a lot more "mild" loads than full power loads through this rifle.

Shooting cast bullets can be great fun. They'll never wear out a barrel, and will provide affordable shooting practice (about the same cost as 22LR ammo). Getting good with a rifle takes trigger time.

My shooting mentor back in the early 1970s had a Ruger #1 in 375 H&H that he used to shoot thousands of cast bullets. Got me into it as well, and I shot quite a few GC cast bullets in my 300Wby - even got a small number of groups to print under an inch at 100 yards using the Lyman 170 gr GC bullet. I plan to try some in the little Ruger Scout 308. BT
