I'd like to try Hogden Superformance for 30.06 loads with Ballistic Tips and AccuBond bullets in 180 grain wt. I can't find much info on this, My Nosler book doesn't have any loads for Superformance and the Hogden website only has 150 gr. Bal Tips listed. Where do I look to find more information?

I bought some Superperformance purely for heavy bullets in my 22-250 and .223 loads. I was very surprised to see the lack of load data available for this newer powder. S

I don't anticipate more extensive information on SuperFormance powder (or on LeverEvolution powder) right away. QuickLoad may include these powders in the next update sometime this winter, though that is not at all certain. Both Hodgdon and Hornady have not been especially forthcoming beyond what they have already released. It might be profitable for you to phone Hodgdon to speak with one of the ballisticians; they may be able to provide some insight.

I was wondering about QL. I wished I had data for the Superformance. It's available everywhere!

This what I found on loaddata. I cut and pasted the info directly from load data and take no responsibility for the info.

Superformance loads are much like H-4831 in terms of the amount of powder used, but the velocities are higher. I have used SF with my 280 Rem in 140 and 150 grain loads, even though there is no manufacturers data on the 150 grain loads. Turns out that the 150s can use the 140 data in a bolt action 280 Rem. Really. 57gn of SF got me 2975fps with 150gn bullets and sub MOA accuracy off a bipod @ 100 yards.

If you want to use SF with the 30-06, I would start 2.5 -3 grains below what the data shows for H-4831 and work up .5 grains at a time until you find the accuracy / velocity you're seeking. The decision is yours, but it worked nice with the 280 Rem.
