Tariff effects on components?

We won't know for sure until it happens, but do you think tariffs will increase costs for components? General talk was about world wide tariffs, but the most recent statements have been 25% on Canada and Mexico, 35% on China. If this were to happen, looks like Canadian IMR Powders would go up. Perhaps nitro cellulose from China could effect things. Metals?

I was reading a little bit about powder manufacture and it sounds like extruded powders are more dangerous and polluting than ball powders, and that this is the reason they are no longer made in the US.

President Trump wants Canada to secure the border and they aren't listening so he's getting their attention. Don't think it will go anywhere once they do.

So it's not about bringing back manufacturing jobs to the US? It's a short term goal? Probably won't matter much in terms of prices for components then.

According to this in 2022 the US caught 1155 terrorists that came from Canada. That's 5 times what came from Mexico during the same time frame. How many weren't caught is the question and why were they allowed to come into Canada?
