Ok, I'm wanting to test your ability to read the Idaho Big Game hand book and tell me theses (3) THREE questions?

They are for the Panhandle region only (top of the page). You may answer to either the Private Land Only Section and/or everywhere else in the Panhandle stated below that section but PICK ONLY ONE AND ANSWER TO THAT ONE ONLY TO SAVE CONFUSION.

This unit does not have any harvest limits that will close the season when/if met!

What is the beginning and end dates?

When are the take dates open?

When is the tag valid for the above two question?

When are the take dates open? year round

When is the tag valid for the above two question? The whole year with 1 day between since July has 31 days.

It's not a trick question here guys, and I am NOT looking to make a fool of you or anyone!

Just look at the page, read the date year(s) and the dates (months) the season is open for the taking/harvesting of a wolf.

Please don't give opinions why you answered as you did or anything other then answer the three very basic questions..... This is a very Important study!

For private land, hunting is authorized year round. From June 30,2014 to July 1, 2015. On "other" lands hunting is authorized from Aug 30, 2014 thru March 31, 2015. There is no way to determine if the tag expires at the end of the calender year.

I don't have my Wolf Tag on me because it was used with the animal I took, so I can take a photo of it, but it "DID NOT and DOES NOT" state an expiration date only the date is was issued, and NONE of the Big Game Tags show an expiration date on the face or the back of the tag(s) used to validate the kill that you place on the dead animal.

The panhandle zone does not have a quota on the number of animals that maybe taken in this area due to the large number of Wolves but some of the other Southern units/zones due have limits that ramain open until the limit is reached. You may call or go online to see which are still open and/or closed.
Hunters may only purchase up to FIVE (5) per calendar year.

Would you mind answering the three questions to the post and if you want to add a fourth answer to the question"Elkman" brought up to the post in reference to when the tags expire that would be OK as well.

For the Panhandle the season runs from July 1st to June 30th, which is year around, on private land. The take time is the same, year around. The tags for wolf hunting are valid from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31.

I take it you took your wolf in and they are trying to tell you the season was closed because it closes on public ground the 31st of March? That's their screw up if they printed the regs wrong.
