So I won an auction I thought would go a lot higher on a tikka t3 lite stainless in 300 wsm. Won it for $479 (that gun is $699 locally).

So now I have the Winchester 70 classic I talked about in another thread and this new rifle. Actually think I am going to build this one up as well and sell the one I don't like. Just ordered a B/C Medalist black with white webbing. Going to bed it up and see how she shoots.

Either way between this and the Winchester 70, I should find a winner.

If I decide on the Tikka, I am going entend the follower and get a larger magazine to shoot longer bullets.

Be careful what you wish for you might have two shooters and keep them both! Your treading in dangerous water here!

From the mouth of someone who finds himself treading in dangerous waters quite frequently!!  Man Jake you put yourself right out there. It's 4:19 AM here in the great state of Montana and I'm heading out the door to see if I can find a Nosler .280 AI black bear. It's wet and raining but my glass bedded, pillar bedded, moly resin coated gem should survive just fine! Wow after writing that it might appear as if I've treaded in some dangerous waters myself a time or too!

Idaho hunter you did good! I think you will find them both very much to your liking. Nothing wrong with keeping them both. If you don't already, your children and future grandchildren need rifles down the road at some point!! Great caliber as well.

Good luck David!

Idaho hunter, good luck and post targets of how they shoot.
