Last year I had to pass on a nice buck that I caught bed bedded down under a pine tree at 10 yds. I knew by the time I had the pistol more set up for longer ranges, and the scope on him, he would be up and running.
So I picked up this Encore .454 Casull and put a Ultra Dot LT on it. And then the holster I built for it.

I certainly don't need the .454's power for the ranges intended on deer. But can load it down, and have plenty options if needed with these cast I have on hand.

Rebuilt XP with a Pac-Nor blank chambered in the 6mm AI.
Fireforming has been done, now ready to play with the Nolser 105 CC, and see what it will do at a 1000 yds and beyond on paper and PD's.

Nice!
Let us know how they both shoot.
I really like the holster for the T/C. Can you share more info on it.

I will JD.
As for the holster,,,it is the basic bandolier I designed and use and make under the QuietHide name. There are variations of course, and I do my best to make them to suit the customers needs. Built one at a time by me per order.
Here's pics of a few others so variations can be seen,,,,,

Well that gives you an idea of some of the work I have done.
Thanks for asking JD!
Feel free to call or write if you, or anybody else has more questions.

Very interesting. Have been considering a scope on my .500 S&W revolver, and it's a big beast, requiring a good holster system...
