Can anyone out there tell me how i can find one of these. They are offered in Europe but i can't seem to find them in the USA under the beretta usa. Maybe it's not possible here in the USA. I know you all have a wealth of knowledge out there. thanks

You might contact Beretta USA (http://www.berettausa.com/) to ask if they are importing these into the States. They don't show their availability at this time, but perhaps they are planning to import them in the future.

I'm not aware of the 260 available stateside, but the 6.5x55 certainly was.

If you're itchin' for a 260 Rem, I've got a Ruger M77 MK II SS if interested.

I e-mailed Beretta a couple of years ago to ask this very question. The reply I got was vague but said this caliber wasn't being imported for the US market and there weren't any plans to do so in the future.

Regarding the 6.5x55 T-3's, they have ceased importation of them as well. If you want one and can find it, you'f better grab it. I have one and it's fantastic.

I have yet to call Baretta, however have been told by several of their dealers no way no how.

GunBroker has a couple Sako .260's at the moment

Sako/Beretta is a little funny. Just before the 85 came out (I think) I wanted a heavy barrel .222, and Sako's website showed that they made one, but I could not find anybody who could get one. Maybe they didn't import them?

I don't fully understand all the vagaries of the gun import business. Several times there were rifles imported into the States that were unavailable in Canada. I wanted to pick up another Browning Eurobolt several years back. They were marketed in Europe, but no longer available in North America. Be that as it may, I manage to find some nice rifles and continue happily shooting them.
