We got a time for celebration now. Our great-grandson got his very first deer in Missouri doe season. He's eight years old and used a Remington youth model, .243 bolt gun, scoped. Distance about 45 yards, from a ground-blind. 'Course "Dad" was there to help a little.

We're proud of him,

Jim

That is fantastic, congratulations to your grandson!
Post a picture if you can.

Good for your great-grandson! He deserves a big "Atta' boy!" from all who know him. Congratulations to your grandson for passing on the tradition.

Let the party begin! Congrats on a good job by all and passing the hunting baton on to the next generation.
Hurrah!!
Thanks for sharing
Greg

Thanks to all for the kind words.

Ol' gramps has heard the younster's hunting story more than several times in the past couple of days     !. But thats ok, thats what "gramps'" are for.

We're proud of all three generations of our hunters,

Jim

My Father used to say, "People will forget what you say, but they will never forget how you made them feel"

The feeling will live with your Great grandson a long time.
